I announced I was using this site as a place to talk about writing, and immediately had a pause. I think Writing with Chronic Illness by Kristine Kathryn Rusch really should be required reading for writers, and optional for most else.
Weeks like this I question this choice of second career. It’s sad to be comforted I have a primary one, but they aren’t particularly pleased with my absence either. Still, my deadlines are looser as a writer, because I know I have other parts of my life for the time being, and I can use that now.
But it makes me sad… I have so many projects and it feels like despite being in my thirties I’m not sure if I’ll ever finish them all.
But, we just take one foot forward, as we can, when we can.
